I am an Oral Historian, trained by Dr. Rosemary Sayigh. I have refined this craft through my research practices since receiving this training in 2010 and I continue to learn through practice. I offer trainings in this method for academic and community spaces seeking to preserve and learn from the living archive. I was honored to provide this training to the first ever cohort of the Institute for Palestine Studies’ How to Write Your Nakba Story? Workshop, which produced these incredible stories.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to provide such trainings to your space. You can contact me to inquire further about and schedule a workshop.
Additionally, I have extensive experience in creating popular and political education programming for summer schools, institutes, workshops, and other organizing spaces as well as providing facilitation for student, community, and academic spaces. I can also offer such contributions to your programming and welcome you to reach out with your projects and inquire further.
I look forward to working with you to support the creation of your programming and community-based research needs!
